I’ve found some interesting issues regarding the texturing in WipeOut Pulse:

Even though i’ve doublechecked my texture template to make sure all edges are covered by at least half a pixel, at angles around 80 degrees from straight on to any texture, the seams seem to suffer loss of resolution (perhaps a mipmap issue, as the same issues appear in the online editor and it is directly related to the mipmapping of textures at further distances, but on the psp it’s hard to tell). The solution appears to be a need to extend the broken texture across past the poly edges by a minimum of 1-2 pixels or the faint lines will still occasionally appear.

All in all, the solution is livable, although it necessitated me making an update to all 3 skins, I also did some minor texture rework on one panel and some piping cleanup I wasn’t happy with in version 1.00.
